They are then sanded, primed, sanded again, designed and painted by hand.


No line is ever perfectly straight - shows the uniqueness and personal touch in every buoy.

They are then cut into "buoy" shape and allowed to dry a bit longer.


All buoys start as a cedar log.  They are then cut into "blanks" and allowed to dry.


A wood tail is then attached.


Since all buoys are a natural wood product, there is a chance that your buoy may have a crack or may not develop a crack over time.  There is no way to determine when and/or if this will happen.  This is what makes them unique and adds character to you buoy.
